BIOGRAPHY
Russian-born American pianist Anastassia Ivanova has performed extensively in the USA, Russia, Estonia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Costa Rica, and Mexico. She is a winner of many international prizes and scholarships worldwide, including the 1st Prize at "Petar Konjovic" International Piano Competition in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, the Homer Ulrich Award in Solo Performance, and a Graduate Fellowship Award from the University of Maryland, College Park.
In the Washington DC area, Anastassia has performed at Embassies of Ukraine, Morocco, and Venezuela; Russian Cultural Center, Organization of The American States, US Department of State, and Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, Maryland. She has also performed at Caramoor Music Festival and Weil Recital Carnegie Hall in NYC, Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica, and Kyoto Concert Hall in Kyoto, Japan.
In April 2013, along with eleven other pianists, Anastassia performed a World Premiere of Monti`s Czardas for TEDMED 2013 at the Kennedy Center.
Anastassia Ivanova holds Bachelor and Master`s degrees in Piano Performance from the Moscow State Conservatory and Doctor Of Musical Arts Degree (DMA) from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has also completed a semester of post-graduate studies at Trinity College of Music, London, UK.
Ms. Ivanova currently resides in Washington DC and is a member of Piano Faculty at the Washington Conservatory of Music. She is also a freelance writer - her book, “Rachmaninoff`s Piano Concertos: The Odyssey of a Stylistic Evolution”, was released in November 2008 by Verlag Dr. Müller Publishing House and sold worldwide.

Many years of experience coaching opera and art songs. Specializing in Russian diction and Russian vocal repertoire, but coaching Italian, German, French and American repertoire as well. Accompanying vocal recitals and auditions.
CHAMBER MUSIC
Collaborating with chamber musicians as well as accompanying instrumental and vocal recitals.
RECORDING SESSIONS
Available for solo, chamber music and vocal recording projects.
